Comments:
Very good condition. Good margins. Printed on white wove paper. Moore, a student and friend of Doel Reed, worked as an art instructor at the University of Oklahoma. She became a master printmaker creating many fine prints and like Doel Reed Moore found the aquatint process to be her medium of choice. Unfortunately there is very little biographical information on this artist. Loraine Moore's first name is commonly misspelled as Lorraine. A deep and evocative aquatint by an extremely underrated artist.
