Comments:
Excellent condition. Original margins. A fine impression printed on cream Japan paper with an unidentified crown and shield watermark. From the collection of Anthony L. Lehman who compiled the only catalogue of this well-known artist - never framed. A scene from the Kansas agrarian landscape featuring a sandboat on a river or large pond - a bridge and farm fields fill the horizon. (Note: a sandboat, or sand boat, is a dredge used for deepening water sources by removing accumulated sedimentation.)
