Comments:
Excellent condition. Original margins. A fine impression printed on cream Japan paper. From the collection of Anthony L. Lehman who compiled the only catalogue of this well-known artist - never framed. A farm scene of a horse turning a sorghum mill while the farmer tends the cane. Set against the backdrop of a mature field and the hilly surroundings of the farm the print captures the movement of the yoked horse and the unusual shapes and lines found in traditional farm equipment. A classic prairie print image.
