Comments:
Very good condition. Good margins. A fine impression on buff wove paper. Very slight toning from previous framing, does not warrant cleaning (Note: the price reflects this condition). Seeber lists two alternative titles, Estes Park, Snow Storm and Snowstorm, Estes. It appears that a bit of black ink was mixed into blue ink giving the print a deeper and slightly warmer presence. Seeber notes that sandpaper was used to roughen the plate background. Crafton (1930) refers to this use of sandpaper as "Sand Tint."
