Very good condition. Narrow, but adequate margins. San Francisco WPA FAP print. A large and strong impression on white wove paper. In the print collections of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Portland Art Museum, and the Newark Museum.
Marguerite Redman Dorgeloh, or Redman, as she preferred to be called is reputed to have made some 50 prints for the Federal Art Project between 1936 and 1940 (Seaton 2006:54). Dorgeloh died by her own hand in 1944. For more information on this artist click on the link below.
