Comments:
Excellent condition and a beautifully image. Good margins. Printed on cream wove paper. Marion Gothard Wallace, a Southern California artist and follower of the aesthetics of Arthur Wesley Dow, was living in Los Angeles between 1917 and 1919 - a time in which she experimented with woodblock printing. An excellent printed example of the Southern California Arts and Crafts movement and its perception of the romantic desert.
