Very good condition. Good margins. Printed on off-white wove paper. This print was distributed by Associated American Artists, the certificate of authenticity transfers with the print. Very dark drypoint work with excellent use of ink wipe. Exhibited at the Society of American Etchers 24th Annual Exhibition, 1939. This particular print was exhibited at the 22nd Biennial International Art Exhibition, Venice, Italy, in 1940. In addition to the Associated American Artists certificate, mentioned above, the original printed and stamped Gerry Peirce Biennial submission "ticket" will also transfer with the print. In the American Print Collection of the Library of Congress.
