Comments:
Very good condition. Good margins. Printed on heavy tan parchment style wove paper. Note small indentation to the right of Peirce's name. One of Gerry Peirce's earliest western America prints. Before arriving in Tucson, Peirce did several prints of the eastern seaboard, then New Orleans, and then San Antonio, Texas. His next, and permanent stop, would be Tucson. The guy was moving West. The image depicts the front of Mission San Jose in San Antonio, Texas. Part of the San Antonia Mission group. A heavily inked etching.
