"Rosanna" printed 1939 for the Associated American Artists (AAA), printer George C. Miller, on white wove paper. Signed by the artist in pencil below image "Howard Cook". The title derives from Duffy and Duffy #197. The edition is not stated but certainly was the usual AAA's 250 prints. The artists wife, Barbara Latham, donated a copy of this image to the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum circa 1986. The Smithsonian, probably using information supplied by Latham, states the date of the print as 1941. However, both AAA supplied comments and Duffy and Duffy correctly date the image to 1939.
Condition: Very good.
